SUMMARY Plugging in TV through HDMI and setting 4K@144hz makes the screen have snowfalls like old CRT with unusable desktop at all, this happens on both AMD with Mesa and Nvidia with their proprietary 545.29.06 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. plugin a TV which supports 4K@144hz - set it to that and not 120hz, the display would be garbled with snowfall like screen like old CRT without it being usable Operating System: EndeavourOS KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.10 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.113.0 Qt Version: 5.15.11 Kernel Version: 6.6.8-x64v3-xanmod1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 8-Core Processor Memory: 31,3 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090/PCIe/SSE2 The AMD system on which I tested has the same OS, just specs are different AMD APU(with Nvidia rtx 3060, but the AMD APU renders the desktop and everything) with a Ryzen 7 6800H, both observed same result.
Can you run "drminfo" (it's in AUR) when in this state? Ideally could you also run weston / sway and report if they work, with their drm_info too.
