Audiobooks (usually with some visual media, but it's audio related) use continuous flow of text blocks. There are no pauses. But various captioning apps and services have problems with proper syncing between text blocks and audio content. Case. Use some audiobook project and Import srt subtitle or create one. 1. it is not possible to automatically connect borders of neigbouring text blocks, each text block has to be edited separately. It should be possible to select multiple blocks, and if any two selected text blocks are neigbours - it should be possible to automatically glue them together with 1-click button. 2. It should be possible to drag the border between two blocks and resize both blocks respectively with a single drag. without need of editing two blocks separately.
I'm not really clear on exactly what you're wanting to do here? It's already possible to group subtitle clips the same as any other clip. Do you need something more than that?
