STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.   Select one or more JPG, MPG, or TIFF files
2.   Item->Edit Metadata

OBSERVED RESULT
Everything is disabled.

EXPECTED RESULT
To be able to edit medatada.

Tested here, no problems with the dialog for editing the metadata. The options are disabled if the file is read-only for you as a user or the collection is offline. Please check it.

Ok.  Somehow, the entire collection ended up read only.  I have no idea how that happened.
