Description telepathicc88 2023-12-16 06:57:36 UTC
SUMMARY
No crash. just ):

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Select a dozen or so image files in dolphin. drag into blank browser (Firedragon in this case) window. also this has happened to me on multiple distros (all Arch and KDE based) with and with different browsers (though all are firefox based)

OBSERVED RESULT
Opens only one of the images but for as many images files you had selected. As in the same image opened a dozen or so times.

EXPECTED RESULT
All of the selected images opened in different tabs instead of the same 1 image in so many tabs.

Can't reproduce on Plasma 6 either. Both cases used wayland.

Are you using wayland or x11? Do you have screen scaling? Any other information?

My dolphin setting might be different than the average user or its an arch or arch and kde specific problem.

I don't know how to edit comments.

I am on X11

Comment 6 telepathicc88 2023-12-18 22:03:35 UTC
I don't have any screen scaling but I do have two monitors with different refresh rates and horizontal resolutions
Comment 7 telepathicc88 2023-12-18 22:11:36 UTC
I am also using encrypted drives. Also happens with as little as two images.
Comment 8 telepathicc88 2023-12-18 22:18:00 UTC
Logged out and relogged into wayland and the issue does not happen. I would suggest closing this issue as it is probably just the dying of x11 (or x11s lack of continuing support on arch or geruda more specifically), but you have your own procedures and it is up to you.
