SUMMARY

When creating/applying effects to the clip in timeline under first sequence, then creating a 2nd sequence and adding 1st sequence to it results in ignoring all applied effect from sequence 1.
***


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add (for this example) image, apply transform effect (say) zoom from 0% to 100% animation.
2. Create 2nd sequence
3. Add 1st sequence to 2nd sequence's timeline

OBSERVED RESULT
Effects are ignored/not working when playing in 2nd sequence which was originally applied in 1st sequence

EXPECTED RESULT
Effects are shown in sequence that are originally applied in 1st sequence.

Strange, I just tested with Kdenlive 23.08.4 on Linux and Windows but cannot reproduce your issue. There must be something else that triggers the bug. If you save and reopen the file, is the problem still here ? If yes, could you attach your project file to this bug report?

I am using kdenlive-23.08.4_standalone

My apologies, I think I understood, I opened the project which was created using kdenlive ver 23.08.3 in ver 23.08.4 . Therefore it caused the bug. When creating a fresh project animation works and shows in next sequence.
