SUMMARY
It would be great if I could automatically reply to a received email within the same account. I have three accounts set up in kmail (2 google, 1 microsoft), and when replying to an email, my identity/account settings are always set to my standard identity/account. That should be optional, not compulsory.

Composer screenshot showing identity option

I hope I understand your comment correctly..
There is an option, just choose your account from the identity menu, attached is a screenshot that shows my composer window when replying, showing my two accounts.
To set this, in the composer window select view > and check identity.

I know that there is this option. It is just that I have to choose it manually, as normally the standard identity is used in every reply, even when the incoming email was from another account.
I think it would be better if a reply uses the same account/id as the incoming email. Or at least have an optio to enable/disable such a behavior.

I looked a little deeper, and the problem is a little different: When getting an email addressed only to me, the reply is with the same id/account as the received email.
But when I get an email sent to many recipients, when I hit "reply", it replies with my standard id/account instead of the id/account the email was received with.
And the problem seems to be happening only with my microsoft account, not with my second google account, although I haven't really tried enough to be sure about it...
