Description techxgames 2023-12-09 22:24:15 UTC
SUMMARY
When starting Plasma Wayland with the screen closed, the laptop shows a black screen, but windows can still be opened with keyboard shortcuts (i.e. Konsole with Ctrl+Alt+T) and cursor moves.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Login to Plasma session
2. If black, open the lid
3. Close the lid

OBSERVED RESULT
Initial login would output a black screen on the external display
Opening the lid loads up the desktop, and closing it back down moves the primary to the attached display.

EXPECTED RESULT
Primary screen would default to the external monitor, and session would load up
