Me and my friends really like the new widget design in conjunction with the floating panel, this design looks very modern. However, the widgets stop being floating if the panel itself goes into non-floating mode (for example, if some window touches the panel).

So it would be cool to see some setting or script that would leave the widgets in floating state forever, regardless of the state of the panel.
