Description Ingo Klöcker 2023-12-08 12:36:38 UTC
I would like to be able to copy a URL mentioned in a message via the context menu. There is a "Copy Link" in the context menu, but it adds a matrix.to link for the message itself to the clipboard (which is sometimes useful).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Look for a message with a URL.
2. Right click on the URL and select Copy Link.

OBSERVED RESULT
A matrix.to link for the message itself is added to the clipboard.

EXPECTED RESULT
The URL is added to the clipboard.
or
There are two actions in the context menu: "Copy Message Link" (Element on Android names this action "Permalink" which seems rather technical) and "Copy Web Link" (KMail names this action "Copy Link Address").
