In the "Configuration" Menu it is possible to save scan as PDF but there is NO possibility to save all scans to ONE FILE!!! That's not really a service for a business man! That's impossible!!! PLEASE add an option to save ALL SCANS to ONE FILE just at least for PDF in ALL SCAN-Sources! Since I would sometimes scan a book to have it in digital form... Thanks a lot in advance!! I would also appreciate a feature like that. This is especially important when scanning large quantities of documents.
Hi, Skanpage is the application to use for multi-page document scanning. https://apps.kde.org/skanpage/ Skanpage and Skanlite use the same libraries, but while Skanlite is dedicated to photo and image scanning, Skanpage is specially made for scanning paper documents.

Ohh thanks for the hint! How could I have missed this app in the last 3/4 years of using KDE? I always thought the Skanlite would be the equivalent to Simple Scan and basically the only KDE native app for scanning. But this one seems to be much more suited to traditional document scanning, very nice. However, I noticed that scanning multiple documents in one batch still doesn't work quite right. In the meanwhile i tested this with the `scanimage` CLI as well and there the same problem exists. So i have opened a bug report on the Sane repo, let's see what the upstream devs think: https://gitlab.com/sane-project/backends/-/issues/806
