I did a fresh install of opensuse tumbleweed for fun. this issue could have happened because i didn't have mariadb installed while running it. perhaps this could be a prompt to reming people that mariadb or postgres needs to be installed to run properly
this is actually irrelevant, as i was trying to ket kontact up with having mariadb/mysql installed and running
