SUMMARY
A glitch appears over the menu bar when Kate is started on a session that contains a file.

Note:
 - The cursor must be on the first line.
 - Opening a file from the command line or file browser doesn't reproduce it.
 - Switching focus to a new window or opening a menu clears it.
 - Typing 3 alphanumerical characters clears it.
 - The glitch appears regardless of display scale

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Make sure Kate setting 'Load last used session' is enabled
2. Open a file in Kate
3. Close Kate
4. Start Kate

OBSERVED RESULT
Glitch on top of the menu bar

EXPECTED RESULT
Glitch-free menu bar

Can't reproduce that with current master. Please reopen if that still happens. I tried it on Wayland, too.

I can't reproduce this anymore on Plasma 6 Beta 2.
