Description Altamush Nayyer Khan 2023-12-01 11:58:27 UTC
SUMMARY
***
As soon as I click the Start Backup Button, KBackup just starts shrinking from its right side. The entire window just shrinks from the right side and continues to shrink until it can't shrink anymore.
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select the folder that you want to backup
2. Check forced full backup
3. Click Start Backup

OBSERVED RESULT
The window starts to shrink and even starts blinking sometimes. Opening menu items on it also causes the menu items to blink.

EXPECTED RESULT
The size should be the same during the backup process and the window should not shrink. This is on X11 by the way.

Very small size video of the bug

This is a video of the bug. It is extremely blurry as I had to reduce the size to be within the limit.

I have no idea what's happening here. kbackup has no code doing something like this.
Do you experience this with any other application?
Comment 3 Altamush Nayyer Khan 2024-08-19 03:56:55 UTC
No. I do not experience it with any other application. Thank you for answering.
