Description Marcelo Sales 2023-11-30 18:56:09 UTC
When I use a shortcut to run Dolphin, it's always opened on Desktop 1, even if I'm using another virtual desktop when the shortcut was used. Then I have to move it manually to the virtual desktop where I want it. This do not happen with other applications, either KDE apps or not.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Assign a shortcut to Dolphin
2. Configure more than one virtual desktop on your workspace
3. Go to any virtual desktop other than Desktop 1
4. Use the shortcut to run Dolphin

OBSERVED RESULT
Dolphin's window is opened on the first virtual desktop

EXPECTED RESULT
Dolphin's window should be opened on the virtual desktop which was active when the shortcut was used

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS

I'm afraid Dolphin 22.04.3 is unfortunately no longer eligible for support or maintenance from KDE.

Dolphin is a fast-moving project, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one. Please update to Dolphin 23.08 as soon as your distro offers it to you. If you need support for Dolphin 22.04.3, please contact your distro, who bears the responsibility of providing support for older non-LTS releases.

If this issue is still reproducible in either Dolphin 23.08 (the latest released version), feel free to re-open this bug report.

Thanks for understanding!
