any more info. kdevelop installs on latest user builds.
(In reply to Carlos De Maine from comment #1) > any more info. kdevelop installs on latest user builds. Now I also see a replacement package getting installed for KDevelop. Kdevelop is in the "to be removed" and now there is a Kdevelop in the "In order to install" -section too. It was not there during reporting. So, issue solved. Closing.
Ok, so Kdevelop got removed, and the replacement came in as Snap / Flatpak. Too bad the replacement Kdevelop is crippled, so bunch of the plugin tools don't work, for example 'cppcheck': bug 478760 Nor, can I see TODO and FIXME notes in the Problems-view: bug 478755. So, this is not a good progress
Ok, so now I ran Discover again, and it installed the "native" Kdevelop, with which the plugins DO work. But, I ended up having two Kdevelops: 1) the "native" one, and 2) Flatpak Kdevelop. Needed to get rid of the Flatpak Kdevelop by using 'flatpak uinstall KDevelop'
