How it looks in plasma 5.27

Seems like plasma 5 renders some sort of display around it.
This seems to be missing in plasma 6.
See my screenshot for reference.
Comment 4 qlum 2023-12-27 10:57:15 UTC
Just for reference I am using the following setup:
Distro: Arch Linux
Plasma Version: 5.91.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.7.0
Qt Version: 6.7.0

The UI indeed looks very broken. Can confirm.

I filed the bug report in "plasmashell -> Notifications" now, instead of "KDE neon", as the issue is unrelated to the distribution. I hope this helps!

Almost invisible popup position buttons

I cannot confirm that this is fixed in the latest release, Plasma 6.0.4 on KDE neon Testing 20240402 (latest).

Furthermore, I have just looked at this UI on the latest build using the Breeze color scheme, and the radio buttons are almost invisible!
This issue therefore needs to stay open, as the UI is not usable.

I can't reproduce in unstable, fixed upstream?

I tested breeze and Breeze dark. I am on:
Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition

KDE Frameworks Version: 6.1.0
Qt Version: 6.6.3
Kernel Version: 6.5.0-27-generic (64-bit)

Memory: 15,3 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® UHD Graphics 620
Manufacturer: Dell Inc.
Product Name: XPS 13 9380

I attached 2 screenshots from breeze and breeze dark.
Comment 13 mydarkstar 2024-04-12 04:56:11 UTC
Dennis, the screenshots you sent are for the Screen Edges settings, not for Notifications.
You must have mistakenly clicked on the wrong settings page.

This issue discusses the fact that the Popup Position UI is broken:
System Settings → *Notifications* → Under Popup Location → Choose Custom Position...

Nonetheless, the Screen Edges UI serves as a good comparison!
