Description Antti Savolainen 2023-11-28 13:08:17 UTC
SUMMARY
Demonstrative video: https://youtu.be/LSTXQOz_8H8
If I search for a file, try to rename it to something that already exists in the folder but doesn't show up in the search results and hit cancel in the dialogue, the filename sticks visually in Dolphin without affecting the underlying filesystem. I also showed in the demonstrative video that this bug does not happen if the conflicting file is present in the search view.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create two files in the same folder
2. Search for one of them without the other appearing in the results
3. Try to rename the file to the one that did not appear
4. Click cancel

OBSERVED RESULT
The filename sticks visually without affecting the name in the filesystem

EXPECTED RESULT
The filename should revert to the original
