Demo pdf with several fonts

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Make, using Adobe Acrobat, a form with some text fields defined to show text in default font Helvetica
2. Type in åäö € in the field
3. Switch to view mode

OBSERVED RESULT
It shows the bytes of the utf-16 as individual characters...

EXPECTED RESULT
I would expect it to show what i typed. Acrobat is able to show properly all the time.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 11
KDE Plasma Version: ???
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.109.0
Qt Version: 5.15.10
Poppler 23.09.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
On my computer Okular shows OK with Arial as font (matching that of non-field text), but our customer see it too failing. I just sent them "Times Roman" variant now as that seems to work as well for me. But it would be great if your tool would be well tested with all non-ASCII charcters. It's my understanding that pre-2.0 pdf is either "local codepage" or UTF-16, with UTF-8 introduced in pdf 2.0 . But you don't seem to support pdf 2.0 anyways.
