I've noticed that whenever the EWS resource is syncing, other resources are blocked. This is especially problematic when for example trying to compose a response to an email in another (e.g., IMAP) resource. It ‘hangs’ with a dialog saying that it is retrieving the message.

Can the EWS resource's activity be split off into some separate process? (I do not understand why it could be necessary to block composing a response to a message in another resource.)
