SUMMARY

Icons are low contrast and not possible to see.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  Open DigiKam
2. Try to find icons

OBSERVED RESULT

Icons not visible

EXPECTED RESULT

Icons visible

macOS: Mac Sonoma 14.1.1.

This is a problem with the macOS Widget Style, which will no longer be available in digiKam-8.2.0.
Go to the digiKam settings under Miscellaneous->Appearance and select the Breeze Widget Style.
