Description Cherkah 2023-11-26 02:04:47 UTC
SUMMARY
***
the calendar applet can be a productive applet only if we have KDE PIM-related dependencies (e.g. Akonadi, kdepim-runtime) installed.
As many people i use thunderbird + firefox couple and do not have any KDE PIM-related dependencies installed for many reasons (small business, security...).

So is it thinkable to improve the calendar applet so as it communicates with thunderbird calendar abi (115.XX) ?
***

EXPECTED RESULT
1) get access to his calendar/events right on the desktop
2) open thunderbird calendar to manage his events/calendar by clicking

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.27.9
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.9
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.112.0
