SUMMARY Ability to add a log file monitor to a sensor page (as available in ksysguard) appears to be missing from plasma-systemmonitor. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Look for "Log Files" in sensor selection. 2. Look for any other way to add a log file monitor. 2. Get frustrated with horrible sensor browser, give up. OBSERVED RESULT Functionality appears to be completely absent. EXPECTED RESULT New application has feature-parity with that which it is intended to replace. What's the use case? What does this do?

For one, adding a "why" to the "what" displayed by a CPU utilisation chart or the like. e.g. Here's a periodic spike in system load, there's the cron job that's causing it, all on the same sheet. I'm sure I could think of some more, but frankly I'm a bit confused at the apparent need to justify removing existing functionality, or what is to be gained in deprecating perfectly functional software in favour of something with an obviously inferior feature set.
