STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Delete one of the pairing braces in a block.
2.

OBSERVED RESULT
Only the particular brace is deleted.

EXPECTED RESULT
There should be a way to delete the pairing brace too.

I can also confirm this strange behavior in Fedora 42 Kate 25.04. i also tested  24.12
