Description bri59mess 2023-11-17 20:22:21 UTC
I would like to request that the kde plasma on-screen keyboard can be used freely by all users. Although the settings and shortcuts are there, it currently only works when if no keyboard is attached.

This is pretty bad for accessibility, and particularly affects anyone with a laptop. It can also be a problem for the rest by simple things like broken keys.

I think this is relevant at this point since the year of wayland seems to be just around the corner, but there is no on-screen keyboard app that supports it, except for the ones integrated into the DEs.
