SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Go to System settings -> Display and monitor - > Night colour 2. At the option "Switching times:" select "Sunset and sunrise at current location" 3. Check that the geolocation is correct and that the proposed times for changing the colour temperature match the sunset times at the current location. 4. Set the desired color temperature. 5. Click on the "Apply button" OBSERVED RESULT Night color activates ~2 hours after sunset has commenced. Between sunset and Night Color activating, there is no indication in the system tray that it's on until activation. Manually choosing the identical coordinates as located by KDE results in Night Color activating immediately as long as the system time is in the range of active hours. EXPECTED RESULT Night Color to activate at the correct times when the switching times setting is set to "Sunset and sunrise at current location" SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.9 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.112.0 Qt Version: 5.15.11 Kernel Version: 6.6.1-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 8 × 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-1145G7 @ 2.60GHz Memory: 15.0 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® Xe Graphics Manufacturer: Dell Inc.
