Hi, I am afraid okular 23.08.1 and frameworkes 5.110 is unfortunately no longer eligible for support or maintenance from KDE.

KDE is a fast-moving project, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one. Please update to the latest version as soon as your distro offers it to you. If you need support for this version, please contact your distro, who bears the responsibility of providing support for older non-LTS releases.

If this issue is still reproducible in the latest version (frameworks 5.112), feel free to re-open this bug report.
Thanks for understanding!

How is this related to Frameworks?
Please properly triage the bugs, especially recent ones (Gear 23.08.x is still supported, and this bug isn't necessarily connected to Frameworks), don't just close them.

Well there was a bug in frameworks that caused a lot of crashes, including in okular.
It got fixed in 5.111. Could you see if you could reproduce this on the latest version?

Does it always happen with the particular pdf you mentioned? If so, it would be great if you could share it.

Thanks!

The bug I was thinking about is this: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=474451
But after taking a closer look I don't think this is the same bug.

I think you are right and this should be a duplicate of 469044, and thus 457234.
