Description TheBrokenRail 2023-11-13 05:47:58 UTC
SUMMARY
If you change the screen dimming setting in the "Energy" category in the Settings, the new setting won't be applied until Plasma is restarted.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Settings.
2. Go to the "Energy" category.
3. Change the screen dimming time to "Never". (These instructions assumes it isn't already set to that.)
4. Notice that your previous screen dimming settings are still in effect. For instance, if you used to be 30 seconds, the screen will *still* dim after 30 seconds of inactivity.
5. Restart your device.
6. Notice that now screen dimming is disabled.

OBSERVED RESULT
Changes to the screen dimming setting don't take effect until Plasma is restarted.

EXPECTED RESULT
They should take effect immediately.
