SUMMARY
Indicate if hardware acceleration is working. It can live in the debug menu. Something like Stats for nerds overlay shown in youtube with additional details about video/audio codec etc.

That would be really nice to have!
The only other video player that I know to indicate if hardware acceleration is working or not is MPC-HC (available only for Windows unfortunately):
