Cannot reproduce. Can you write more detailed steps that indicate exactly how you added the widget, exactly how you configured it, etc?
Deleting and re-adding it fixed it on KaOS Plasma 6. Will test on Arch with [kde-unstable]. But these were the steps I followed to re-add (and I am 99.9 % sure these were the steps I followed the first time): Right-click on my desktop Add Widgets ... Select System Monitor Sensor Long Press Click Configure System Montor Sensor Change Display Style from Pie Chart to Process Table OK Long Press Enlarge the widget
Same result for Arch. But, after I re-boot, the Configure... notification re-appeared in the middle of my System Monitor Widget Process Table. On both Arch and KaOS. Have you tried re-booting?
Re-opening to reflect that I added detailed steps, including the re-boot required for the Configure... indicator to show.
Can reproduce with those steps.

Is there any progress on this issue? I just discovered it and was surprised that this has been an issue for over a year now.
