Description mashkal2000@gmail.com 2023-11-12 05:19:36 UTC
SUMMARY
After editing a preset manually, the container format is locked to a64. Wishlist: parse the contents of the text box or allow the text box to contain additional info to be applied on top of the base configuration, rather than just completely replacing it.
Or at least let us see the contents of the "manual editing" box as read-only, only locking the preset to text-only once the user clicks a button to edit the preset text directly.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Go to project rendering menu
2. Open "Create new render preset" menu
3. Go to "Other" tab
4. Click "Enable manual editing"

OBSERVED RESULT
Regardless of chosen container and codec, the container in the dropdown says a64 and is not editable.

EXPECTED RESULT
The container in the dropdown says matches the vcodec/acodec in the text box and the settings are editable.

I can confirm the issue.
You have to choose the container first, before you “enable manual editing”. But it stays always on: vcodec=a64multi.
