When i fullscreen apllications' windows, the bottom of the windows gets hidden behind the bottom panel including the save button when downloading from firefox and other dialog boxes and it is very irritating and i have to manually resize the window for it to not get hidden behind the panel
My resolution is 1360x768

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open any window like vlc or audacity
2. Fullscreen the window

OBSERVED RESULT
The bottom of the window gets hidden behind the panel, hiding the things present at the bottom of the window.

EXPECTED RESULT
The window to be properly scaled and display all the information without hiding behind the panel

When you say "full screen" do you mean "maximize" The screenshot depicts a window that's maximized, not fullscreened, so I'll assume you meant "maximized"

Are you using X11 or Wayland? Does it happen in both, or just one?

Are you saying this happens with all windows you maximize?
