Created attachment 162928 [details] A sample docx file that does not get a thumbnail
I have kubuntu 25.04, and although odt files have a fine preview, docx files don't. Show in many cases I cannot recognize files if I won't open them in libreoffice. I read a comment by kbroulik, 2y ago saying that"We just extract the embedded Thumbnail.png in the DOCX/XLSX/PPTX. It seems Microsoft Office often doesn’t generate the file so we cannot display it.". So what's the situation now? Actually it is the only frequently used files that I cannot preview.
