SUMMARY I'm new to encryption and about a month ago I was looking for a PGP GUI and searched in Synaptic packages by "PGP" keyword. Nothing found in the Ubuntu repo because the KGPG program has GPG in name and description but not PGP. So could you please add the word OpenPGP into description? This will help to find the great application. This is probably a question to a package maintaners but I believe you can ask contact maintainers from all distros. Also inside of the KGPG there are some metadata files like org.kde.kgpg.appdata.xml with text: KGpg is a simple interface for GnuPG, a powerful encryption utility. It can help you set up and manage your keys, import and export keys, view key signatures, trust status and expiry dates. You can just add OpenPGP word internally like: "It can help you set up and manage your OpenPGP keys". The KGPG is similar to Kleopatra but in many aspects I found it better but the Kleopatra also supports X509/SMIME and is ported to Windows. Is any significant reason why the KGPG is a separate project? Maybe you can collaborate and help to Kleopatra team or even merge your projects?
