I posted an image here: https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/17j4i3s/black_border_around_gtk_app/

The app is a GTK4 (?) app as a Flatpak. In the KDE Flatpak settings, disabling "direct graphic rendering" fixed that issue.
