Description Thomas Ruschival 2023-10-26 07:34:01 UTC
When running Filelight 22.12.3 on Debian Bookworm 12.1 and remote (ssh with x-forwarding) X-Server on windows (Cygwin X 1.16.3) filelight crashes with error:

The X11 connection broke: I/O error (code 1)
XIO: fatal IO error 0 (Success) on X server "localhost:10.0"
after 334 requests (334 known processed) with 0 events remaining.

The same ssh session with X-Forwarding works without issues when opening other KDE and X Apps (e.g. xeyes, emacs or Okular).

Thank you for your bug report!
Debian advises users to not submit bugs upstream (https://www.debian.org/Bugs/Reporting), as this version of the KDE software is out of support from KDE, and so it's possible that the bug exists only in Debian at this point.
Could you report the bug to Debian using the report bug utility (https://packages.debian.org/stable/utils/reportbug)? If necessary, the maintainer of the package will forward the bug upstream.
Thanks for understanding!
