Clips are grouped, already edited, but now are desynced

SUMMARY

I have a big project, edited mp4 files already, audio was all good. Now i open it up and audio at a certain point is desynced. Clips are still grouped together. I can of course ungroup and move them... but then i have about 150 clips ungrouped. And i have idea if it'll do it again or resync and then fuck it all up again.

Thank You.

Thanks for your report and sorry for the bad experience. First I would really advise to upgrade to the latest 23.08.2 version as 23.04.x releases had some major regressions related to the introduction of nested timelines.

One thing you can try to recover your project is to open a backup file (Kdenlive saves a copy of all saved versions of a project) to see if you can recover a non desynced version without too much work lost. This is in the menu under Project > Open Backup File...

The other question I have is that there seems to be a clip on the topmost video track just before the clip where the desync happens. Can you tell me what kind of clip it is ? An image, a title ? Did you maybe externally edit this clip ? Maybe something happened that caused the clip's length to change and cause the desync... That would be a first step in trying to understand what happened.

Maybe attaching or sending me the project file could also help here.
