STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. make sure "Save file to default folder" option is check in Spectacle settings
2. open Spectacle on Wayland
3. click on "Window under cursor" button
4. press ESC key

OBSERVED RESULT
"Window under cursor" capture mode is aborted, Spectacle opens and an error message says
"Cannot save an empty screenshot image". Please see the attached screenshot.

EXPECTED RESULT
no error message

Can reproduce with those steps.

Cannot reproduce with Spectacle 24.05.2.
