SUMMARY
Can reproduce on both Plasma 5 and Plasma 6.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. have a file/folder with a long name like "vokoscreen-2021-04-02_00-31-17.mkv" on desktop
2. select the file/folder and press F2
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
the file/folder name is not entirely visible and it is scrollable. Please watch the attached screen recording.

EXPECTED RESULT
long file/folder name should be entirely visible while in edit mode, without a scroollbar.

Browsing the code, I see that at the moment this is technically intentional (an rather difficult to fix), but I agree that it's not ideal.

Still not ideal, but also still not any more feasible to achieve. Unfortunately I don't think we can do this, for technical reasons. :(
