SUMMARY Playing a video which is stored on an SMB SAMBA fileshare on the local network is unable to be paused. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Play a video which is stored on an SMB Fileshare on the local network 2. Try to pause either by clicking the pause icon or pressing the space bar. 3. To confirm the issue was solely with SMB, I played a video on the local filesystem which I was able to pause as normal. OBSERVED RESULT The video continues playing, disregarding user input to pause. EXPECTED RESULT Ability to pause a video being played which was stored via an SMB fileshare. Cannot reproduce. What version of VLC do you have? Also please post the debug output of replicating the issue with `PHONON_DEBUG=5 PHONON_BACKEND_DEBUG=5 dragon`

I could reproduce this before, but today Dragon is refusing to load any files at all. :(
