Created attachment 162389 [details] xterm showing the issue SUMMARY After an XWayland crash and automatic restart, window decorations are drawn on top of the client area. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. crash XWayland, let it be restarted 2. open an X11 app OBSERVED RESULT The decorations are drawn over client area, and the bottom is transparent. Client area is shifted up to behind the window decorations. When turning off decorations in the window menu, the previously hidden parts (typically menubar) work again. EXPECTED RESULT The client area is within the window decorations, not behind. Created attachment 163193 [details] KWin 5.27.9 still showing the issue With KWin 5.27.9, I'm still seeing the issue. I'm not sure how I could test Plasma 6 on Arch. This time the crash didn't happen naturally, so I forced the issue with `kill -SEGV`.
