An import wizard can help users transfer their settings from other desktops to Plasma, which can save time and reduce the labor of manually configuring Plasma.
It's an interesting idea. What settings did you have in mind that would make sense to import?

This is an interesting idea, but it sounds like a massive project. It's also somewhat beyond the scope of what Plasma Welcome aims to offer: a curated introduction to Plasma. This idea is more of a migration wizard. And I think that's a great idea, but it should probably be another project. We'd also want to support migrating stuff from Windows and macOS, too, which would expand the scope even more.
