SUMMARY The Budget report section has Budgeted vs Actual This Year. Users would be greatly served by having this data for Current month and Year-to-date. If the range is changed to current month, the "Actual This Year" is also restricted to current month. Should be actual year-to-date. How would "year to date" differ from "this year"? A range of year to date" means from 1 Jan to current date. Changing the range to anything else, such as current month, means it can't still be year-to-date. (I don't use budgets, so I'll have to set up a sample file to see what actually happens. It might be helpful (both for this bug, and for improving the documentation) if you could come up with a sample file with data for one whole year and about half of the next.
The report I would to see - my old DOS MoneyCounts had it - would be budget vs actual for the current month and the cumulative year-to-date (end of current month). The Range on the report should only affect the month shown, not the cumulative amounts.
