Description Michael 2023-10-15 01:22:20 UTC
When I create and save a new document in Kate/Kwrite, and then come back to Kate/Kwrite, I cannot easily open the file I just saved, it's not present in the Open Recent list.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a new file, save it, close it.

OBSERVED RESULT
Go to File -> Open Recent and notice that the newly saved file is not present. I have to go through File -> Open, then dig around to find the file I just saved.

EXPECTED RESULT
The newly saved file should be at the top of the Open Recent list.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: KDE neon 5.27
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.8
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.110.0
Qt Version: 5.15.11
Graphics Platform: X11
