SUMMARY version: 5.2 (also nightly builds) In the Opacity option for masked brush, - Strength slider doesn't work(affect the brush) at all. - The pen pressure setting for it affects the brush even if you turn off the opacity option entirely. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Make a simple pixel brush, and enable the masked brush option(by checking Brush Tip). 2. Check the Opacity option under it. 2.1. Try to adjust the Strength slider. 2.2. Try to set the pen pressure for it, and disable masked brush option entirely(by unchecking Brush Tip). 3. See how the brush preview change, or try to paint on the canvas and see how it works. Marking this as a regression. The masked brush's opacity strength works as expected in 5.1.5, compared to always behaving as if it's 100% in 5.2.0. The opacity not being disable-able isn't exactly a regression, since there used to not be a checkbox for it, but it's still a bug. I would guess either it should not have a checkbox, or disabling it should treat the opacity as 100% (with curves disabled).
I would like to add that Masked Brush - Flow option is also confusing in a same way with the new checkbox even though the strength does work as it should. No matter if turned on or off the curve and strength in effect is as set by user. As Freya mentioned, it is probably best to treat it as 100% with default curve if checkbox is off for both opacity and flow in masked brush section.
