Description Nate Graham 2023-10-12 14:10:32 UTC
Today's git master on Plasma 6 Wayland.

These days NeoChat doesn't seem to send a notification the moment a new message comes in; rather, it waits until 3-5 messages have been sent, and then it sends notifications for all of them at the same time. The net result is that I'm not actually notified immediately, and when notifications for newly-arrived messages do arrive, there are many of them that appear simultaneously and cover up a lot of the space on screen. There are so many of them that they have a tendency to cover up exactly what I was looking at, which is annoying. And because there are several, I can't just close one notification to recover my focus; I close one, and then the one above it takes its place and a new one appears that was in the queue and not visible, and so on. I find it pretty disruptive.

NeoChat doesn't do this anymore; thank goodness!
