STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Appearance -> Global Theme -> Boot Splash Screen

OBSERVED RESULT
You won't see the preview of Boot Splash Screens.
If you apply one of Boot Splash Screens, it will only display normally when the machine is turned off, but cannot be displayed when the machine is turned on. Only a circle will be displayed when the machine is turned on.

EXPECTED RESULT
You can see all the preview images, and the setting of one of them can take effect when it is turned on and off.

Thank you for the bug report - unfortunately, we have not been able to get to it yet. Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with Plasma 6.3.5?

(Please note that the thumbnails are provided by upstream projects, so adding those would need to be done by those projects - this would just concern the splash screen not working when starting up)
