STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. play videos/audios with two players controllable by Media Palyer applet at the same time
2. click on the Media Player applet
3. switch between the tabs

OBSERVED RESULT
Transition is not smooth when switching tabs. Please watch the attached screen recording.

smooth transition when switching tabs

Cannot reproduce; it's nice and smooth for me on Plasma 6 Wayland. Hardware:

Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i7-10510U CPU @ 1.80GHz
Memory: 16.4 GB of RAM
Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® UHD Graphics

Cant reproduce. Marked as Fixed given the lack of system info and number of updates since.

It is still reproducible on both Arch Linux running Plasma 6 RC2 and neon unstable.

Still looks pretty smooth to me. I'm guessing your hardware is less powerful.
