Created attachment 162053 [details] Screenrecording SUMMARY When opening SpeedCrunch 0.12 compiled against Qt5.15.8 on Plasma 5.27.8 with a fractional scale of 1.25 on a white background, e.g. could be a a website in Firefox as seen in the recording, one a more horizontal lines appear for a fraction of a second while opening the application. The opening animation is "scale".
I cannot reproduce on master. There have been numerous cleanups in this area. Would you be able to test?

> Would a live session of eg KDE Neon unstable be sufficient? KDE Neon Unstable is a pure crash-fest and unfortunately it starts right into an X11 session and I cannot log out and switch to the Wayland session. I will look for another solution tomorrow.
