However, when I try and open a HEIF/HEIC image with the version installed via Flatpak, it returns "Loading <image name> failed Gwenview cannot display documents of type image/heif" If I try and open a HEIF/HEIC image with the version installed via Snap, it returns "Loading <image name> failed" STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install Gwenviw from either Snap or Flatpak 2. Open HEIF/HEIF image OBSERVED RESULT Does not display image. If installed via Flatpak, shows the following: "Loading <image name> failed Gwenview cannot display documents of type image/heif" Or for Snap: "Loading <image name> failed" EXPECTED RESULT Image should be displayed. Hi. Could you tell me, what size have your images? I reported similar bug (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=482195) and i I think, problem is related to size of file. I talk about that with people from Internet and told me, that HEIF/HEIC images taken by108mpx camera, can't be opened with gwenview.
