SUMMARY Tried to run gamescope git today and it complained about missing functionality in KDE STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Run KDE 2. Try to run gamescope from git branch OBSERVED RESULT gamescope is aborted with the following message Your Wayland compositor does NOT support wp_presentation/presentation-time which is required for VK_KHR_present_wait and VK_KHR_present_id which is needed for Gamescope to function. EXPECTED RESULT Gamescope works Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.8 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.110.0 Qt Version: 5.15.10 Kernel Version: 6.5.5-2-cachyos (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 8-Core Processor Memory: 31.3 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070/PCIe/SSE2 Manufacturer: Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. Product Name: MS-7A37 System Version: 1.0

Tried applying the patch for that commit to 5.27.8 and it wasn't compatible, unfortunately. I was actually going to ask today when this would be implemented, but it looks like I'm going to have to wait a while longer on Gentoo stable to get it... Assuming it even gets backported? :/ Plasma 6 is still a baby right now, so it would suck to have to wait that long for this.
